Member Sree Narayana Pillai Institute of management of Technology (MSNIMT) offers two years time full Post degree postgraduate course in business (MBA). The Institute has been approved by the Council of India all technical education (AICTE), Government of the India and is affiliated to the University of Kerala.
The MSNIMT campus is set on 8 acres lush green land in the idyllic landscape of Chavara, 12 km north of Kollam and 2 km east of N H 47. Rich in natural resources, Kollam is the home of such critical industries like Indian rare earth metals minerals & Metals Ltd Limited and Kerala Kollam is also a major processing centre for seafood, cashew nuts and coconut.
Today business is driven by the forces of globalization, technical innovation and intense competition. At MSNIMT, we provide a learning environment that inspires students to Excel in the face of these challenges. The design of curriculum and pedagogy emphasizes the development of skills and abilities to apply management theories and concepts to live business issues and student. industry Students should achieve the highest levels of excellence.

Teaching methods include lectures, case studies, seminars, group discussions, games business, role playing games, simulation exercises, group work structured and informal and field visits. The emphasis is on participation of students in learning and help them to relate concepts and theories to the requirements of the business. In line with advances in technology in education, the programme integrates the use of computers in the learning of the basic principles in different functional areas of management. MENTOR SYSTEM
The Institute has introduced a concept of mentor Group on campus. Under this system, students are divided into small groups and a faculty member, a mentor is assigned to each group. Students are free to express their views and discuss their problems, fears, hopes and aspirations with their respective mentors.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMS
The Institute offers a 2 month orientation program that helps the freshers for general training program printing so that they can adapt to the learning process.

INTERNSHIP TRAINING SUMMER
Students must go through the internship programme and week 8-10 summer training industries/enterprises/service organizations and make the draft study.

The infrastructure is conducive to effective MSNIMT and prolonged study. The teaching block in the Institute has spacious lecture halls, classrooms and syndicate rooms. WELL-STOCKED LIBRARY
Well-stocked library in MSNIMT has grown today into a great learning resource centre in South Kerala. The library, with its extensive collection of books, journals, newspapers and CD ROM, is housed in a spacious building and exceeds the standards University and AICTE. The Institute also has access to the British Library and the Center for research & Quilon public library.

Library rules:
This section provides information to members regarding rules and regulations and special facilities for them.

• Students are not allowed to borrow books from the sections reference title, Journal title, project report.
• Core Faculty members can use the books from the library and, where appropriate, the
• Visiting Faculty members may take books from the library with a special permission from the principal.
• Member shall not be entitled to borrow if it carries the latest book.
• A penalty of Rs 1/per book per day will be charged after due date
• If books/periodicals lost belongs to a set of multi volume books, the cost of the entire volume will be recovered from the debtor.
• Instruction librarian should really followed and adhered to.

IT AND COMMUNICATION RESOURCES
Computers in our culture, fundamentally changing the way we live, work and do business. MSNIMT, one of the most modern equipment and systems, computer lab. Communication lab, hardware and software resources are extremely advanced, with the entire network. Corporate internal access is also provided in the laboratory.

The school has two hostels, providing accommodation for students with modern amenities and recreational facilities. All Hostels have separate administrators and security staff. Youth hostels are equipped with separate telephone devices. For visitors, the Institute offers rooms for guests. The rooms for the guests will be charged a nominal rate, where appropriate, from time to time.

The Bank of the State of Travancore, Federal Bank and ING-Vysya Bank has branches close to the Institute. In addition to regular banking facilities, it also provides services of loans to needy students. ICICI Bank, S.B.T & Federal Bank operates A T M centres close to the school. A post office is also located near the campus.

Medical devices
The Institute has got up tie with Upasana hospital, Kollam. Special privilege is given to the students of this Institute for consultation between the specified hours on all working days. Doctor on call facility for emergency is also available on campus.
