College in 2002, is located in a 25 Acre plot in a picturesque location in the hilly town of Kadakkal and has all the infrastructure facilities including rooms spacious, well equipped and fully equipped classrooms, a library, computer centre, drawing Hall, laboratories, seminars, etc. The College is a self-extracting funded and has the approval of AICTE and Government of Kerala. The College is affiliated to University of Kerala. DEPARTMENTS

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
This institution of Mechanical Engineering Department is committed to a student centered environment where everyone learns, finds and enriches itself, society and the nation. The Department includes the B Tech degree that allows students the opportunity to prepare a professional process engineering practice or research programs will result in higher than eight semester program. The emphasis is on the perustutkintotason the program is based on the foundation of mathematics, basic and applied science, process engineering, scientific and engineering elements.
The ability to design and carry out experiments, and analyze and interpret data is one of the basic skills, develop during the Bachelor's study. Our workshops and laboratories are well equipped to carry out experiments on the conversion of heat energy, mechanics of its transmission and production process.
The Department s future objectives include developing programs graduate and innovative, appropriate engineering research program different from the fields of mechanical engineering.
We have a dynamic faculty dedicated to excellence in teaching and research is always ready to help and advise students by providing individual advice and pushing the academic discourse between students, faculty, and other engineering professionals. Working in a multi disciplinary team, working to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems, one's ability to communicate effectively is paramount. Extracurricular activities that enrich the educational experience is so given enough space in our curriculum.

Electronics and communication
This Department with its dedicated members of the faculty offers UG programs in electronics and communication Engineering, covers all aspects with the necessary emphasis on network theory, digital signal processing, solid state electronics, digital electronics, switching circuits, microprocessor and interfacing, information theory and space communication. Members of the Faculty is well qualified to the ISTE training and specialisation in various fields in electronics.
The Department holds regular seminars and technical discussion of the project. The Department is equipped with adequate facilities, such as computer terminals, projectors, LCD projectors, etc.
The Department apart from defence electronics laboratory and electronic workshop to confirm the requirements of the program. The electronics laboratory is well equipped with a sufficient number of CROs, function generators, power suppliers and various testing and measuring instruments. The practical work is supervised and supported by a qualified, experienced personnel.
ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS

The Department is a rebust body headed by Professor who retired from govt. College of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram and well-equipped modern laboratories having in electrical machinery, electronics and electrical and electronics workshop to carry out experiments.
The Department offers a deeper commitment to technological quality of education. Having sufficient experience of handling of qualified members to acquire current developments there classes in emerging areas of electrical engineering. Ensures a high ratio of staff to students, each student's academic progress, in close contact with the track. COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING
This is one of the most prestigious courses offered by this institution with an average intake of 60 students per year. The course treats most of the advanced topics in computer hardware and software. This will make the student a thorough understanding of the theory and design of computer architecture, networking, communication, etc. The course provides faculty to do experiments on software and computer hardware to get a strong background of the engineering technologies in computer communications and network. The curriculum offers the programming skills of the students of the very basic level to a professional level to the new challenges of the current Software development in industries to develop. Projects are also included in the final semesters to get a hand on experience with highly skilled professionals of the industry.

Computer center of this institution is humorous and furnished well equipped fully the latest computers and other peripherals. The Centre also has a sufficient number of staff support to help students when appropriate. The Centre also held 60 of the latest processors Pentium decade 30 attached to another server using windows. ITI Centre equipped with a sufficient number of required peripherals such as dot matrix printers, inkjet printers, scanners, webcam etc. Internet connection is also available for quick and easy access to the "global network".
