INTRODUCTION







S.A.M. college of education was established in the year 1995 at puthenkadavu ,and affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and also recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi and accredited with 'A' grade by National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC). The college is situated at Puthankavu Junction on the way to Kottayam from Ernakulam. It is 25 kms away from Ernakulam junction railway station. Poothotta is at the southern end of Ernakulam in between Tripunithura and Viakom.



The college seeks to impart quality teacher education by adopting various ideological and technological advancements.
